      01 / the problem

Women's Training Has Been Built On The Wrong Map.

for decades, women have been handed the same playbook: eat less, do more cardio, lift small weights, repeat. the result is a generation of strong-willed women undereating, overtraining, and wondering why nothing moves.

the data has shifted. the protocols haven't. peer-reviewed research now shows that heavy resistance training drives bone density, lean mass, insulin sensitivity, mood, and metabolic health more than any other intervention available to a woman across her lifespan.. and that the female body adapts to that training differently in her 20s, her 30s, peri, and post-menopause.

most coaches still program women like small men. we don't. the strong project is built on women's physiology.. phase by phase, decade by decade.. not pulled from a male template and softened at the edges.

      ~30%
      lean mass at risk

of women in their 30s+ are already losing meaningful lean mass per decade without structured strength work. by 60, the loss can exceed 30% of peak. the floor for lifelong strength is laid in the years before peri.. and rebuilt in the years after, if the work is done right.

      02 / the method

Strength is the Anchor. The Cycle Flexes Around It.

five things don't move across the lifespan. five things adapt to where you are, what you're going through, what your cycle and life are doing. every woman gets the same anchor. every woman's flex looks different.

      the anchor

      Non-Negotiable.

      these don't move.
      • strength training is present. the lift is the medicine. frequency flexes. showing up doesn't.
      • protein floor. every day. even bad days. especially bad days.
      • sleep is training. seven hours protected like a workout.
      • fueling for the work. chronic underfeed is a disqualifier for adaptation.
      • labs as data. we don't guess at iron, thyroid, hormones, vitamin d. we test.
      the flex

      Adaptive.

      these move with your body.
      • training intensity rotates with cycle phase, sleep, stress, and life load.
      • conditioning volume grows as energy and recovery support it.
      • macros shift across phase, training day, and goal.
      • session length flexes around your week.. 25 minutes counts.
      • recovery work scales up as stress scales up. not optional, not last.
      03 / the lens

Six Phases. One Protocol That Adapts.

programming a 24-year-old like a 54-year-old is malpractice. programming a 54-year-old like a 24-year-old is worse. we don't. the work meets you where you are.

      01
      20s · The Foundation

highest leverage decade for building bone density and ingraining the strength habit. peak bmd is laid down before 30.

anchors: progressive overload, technique mastery, protein habit, calcium + vit d adequacy. common gap: chronic underfueling and fear of "bulking."

      02
      30s · Peak + Pressure

hormones still robust but life load spikes. recovery margin shrinks. efficient programming wins over heroic programming.

anchors: high-stimulus / low-time strength work, protein floor non-negotiable, sleep protection. common gap: training inconsistency from life chaos.

      03
      Perimenopause · The Rule Rewrite

estrogen variability drives symptom chaos: cycle shifts, sleep fragmentation, insulin resistance rising, visceral redistribution. the highest-impact intervention window in your adult life.

anchors: heavy resistance training, protein at the upper bound, sleep as medicine, hrt conversation when symptoms warrant. common gap: being told to "eat less and do more cardio." the exact opposite of what your physiology needs.

      04
      Menopause + Post-Menopause

estrogen at low baseline. accelerated bone loss in the first five years. intensity matters more here than at any prior phase.

anchors: heavy load resistance training (the data is clear.. body weight squats do not move bone density), high protein, fall prevention, cardio for the heart. common gap: assuming it's too late. it isn't.

      05
      Postpartum · Coming Back

pelvic floor recovery, diastasis status, lactation demands, broken sleep. a 12-month project, not a 12-week project.

anchors: core + pelvic floor rehab first, progressive return to load, realistic intake during lactation. common gap: trying to bounce back too fast and paying for it later.

      06
      Starting Over After a Break

any age. defined by re-entry, not chronology. consistency for 90 days beats intensity for 30.

anchors: rebuild the habit before optimizing the program. honest baseline. show up. strength returns faster than you expect.

      05 / common questions

      Questions, Answered.

i'm in perimenopause and nothing is working. is this for me?

especially for you. peri is the highest-leverage window we coach. the protocol you've been running was built for a 25-year-old's hormones. yours have changed. the work needs to change with them. heavier load. higher protein. better recovery. less random cardio.

i'm in my 20s and just starting. am i too young for this?

no. the foundation laid in your 20s compounds for the next 60 years. the woman who learns to lift heavy, eat enough, and track her body in her 20s walks into every phase that follows with a different starting position.

i've never lifted weights. can i actually do this?

yes. most members start exactly here. every program is built from your current level, not someone else's. we teach the movements. we scale the load. consistency beats intensity for the first 90 days.

i train at home with limited equipment. does that work?

completely. dumbbells, bands, a bench, and a doorway will take you further than most commercial gyms ever will. the program is written to your setup, not a wishlist.

i undereat and overtrain. how do you fix that?

slowly and on purpose. we audit current intake, set a protein floor, add calories at a pace your nervous system tolerates, and rebuild trust in fueling. years of restriction don't unwind in two weeks. but they do unwind.

      do you take insurance?

no. we're a coaching practice, not a medical clinic. some hsas and fsas reimburse coaching.. check with your administrator. receipts available on request.

are you a medical provider? do you prescribe hrt?

no. we coach training, nutrition, recovery, and behavior. hrt and medications stay with your doctor. when clients give us permission, we coordinate with their providers.. body comp data, training response, symptom tracking. that's where we add the most value.

      how much does it cost?

monthly membership. we walk through pricing and fit in the free intro call before anyone commits. no pressure. no surprise sales. if it's not the right room for you, we'll say so.
